SOMMA

SOMMA is all instrumental post-rock trio from Voronezh, European Russia. Alexei Maksimov (guitars), Yury Bulavinov (bass, synths), and Anton Scherbinovsky (drums) have been playing since 2008. The band describe their music as “dramatic, melancholic, sometimes dark, but always lyrical instrumentals”; they tend to compose rather short and focused tunes instead of being just another post-rock ensemble with endless guitar tremolos and pointless excursions beyond the horizon.
